Fortnite fans compete for a $25,000 prize pool at the ggCircuit Winter WAN Tournament

The tournament begins on January 10 with a set of warm-up matches, and will offer three events – two solos and one duo – spread across the next three days before concluding on January 13. Top qualifiers in preliminary matches will move on to a set of championship games where they’ll be able to compete for a share of that prize pool. Everyone will have multiple chances to qualify, and multiple championship matches in which to earn a piece of the prizes.

You can find full details on entry at the official site, as well as a list of participating locations. LAN centers across Europe, North and South America, and Oceanic regions are all able to participate. If you’ve got a local center that isn’t on the list of participants, organising company ggCircuit says there’s still time to register for the event.

So if you want a chance to put your Fortnite skills to the test with cash on the line, this is it – and you’ve got a little under a month to make sure your skills are up to the task.

Stay tuned for details on the Driftboard and other items like it. Given how the Winter Royale finals went, you’ll want to stay up to date on every new detail as it makes it to Fortnite so you’re prepared at competition time.
