Valhall wants to be a viking battle royale
Two things are very popular nowadays: viking mythology and battle royale genre. It was only a matter of time when someone would connect these two into a single game, and this is what the Ukrainian team Black Rose Arts is trying to do with their title Valhall.
The game was introduced yesterday by launching a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGogo where it is seeking 30 thousand dollars for development. Not much, but remains to see if the audience will be interested in yet another battle royale game that does not really have a chance against heavyweights like Fortnite and PUBG.
Nevertheless, Valhall promises a fight for Odin's sword that rescues Midgard of Ragnarok. For the sword will fight 50 players at the same time, and will use mostly cold weapons, bow and arrows, and also their parkour skills. The map will be divided into four different regions, and the circle that drives players to the inside will be called apocalypse.
Whether Valhall will achieve its goal and start with the full production, we will know in a month when it completes its crowdfunding campaign.
