Ancestors: The Humanity Odyssey is no longer an episodic game, it will return us to Africa 10 million years ago

Today offically has started Reboot Develop 2017, and among the prominent guests, just like last year, Patrice Desilets has performed. This time Desilets came with something more concrete information about the Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey  the game on which he has been working on for two years now.

The first news is that this third-person adventure will not be an episodic format as the development team of Panache Digital has planned. The game has simply gone into initial ambition and still is not near the release. However, in playable edition there are elements of survival and resource management.

It is located 10 million years in the past in the African continent. It looks like we're going to play with monkeys, and even though there will be clashes in the game,  weapon crafting shouldn`t be expected. At best you'll get a twig. Along with this information also has been attached a new teaser trailer video that does not reveal much but confirms the presence of a saber-like tiger in the game.

Well... it looks more like Shelter than Far Cry Primal (and that can be a good thing)... never heard about this, but now I'm curious.

Sweg Lord

Looks promising, Lets all hope the devs don't pull a "no-man's sky" and kill the hype train

Interstellar

Looks like it will be released in the next 2-3 years.

Lunar

This is excellent, because the developers modify the game, and we will not play the raw game. Now raw games are very many, who do not have a future because of the large number of bugs

Planetary

In my opinion episodic format isn't good idea for games, so I enjoy this decision.
