Fallout: New Vegas Mod Trailer Available

What a trailer. This mod looks pretty legit. Might even think it was an actual DLC of the game. In fact, I might even have to reinstall FO:NV to try this mod out. The mod doesn't have a release date but judging from the status page, it looks like it's almost there. You can also use your FO:NV character too, which makes sense. It's still a mod after all. Overall this looks promising and it's remarkable that fans can mod a dated game to still provide fresh content for its community. This is why I always push for games to allow the community to generate content to keep the game alive.

Here is the story behind the mod:

The base idea of the Frontier was to construct a completely new environment from the Mojave Desert and Capital Wasteland. Portland, Oregon was chosen for many reasons. I know some of you from Oregon may say, there is no way in hell that Portland gets this much snow and some location in Canada may fit better with the Frontier. While this is true, keep in mind that it would have been even harder to fit the NCR and the Legion that far up north with a reasonable explanation. Right now, the reason for a lot of snow in Portland is, when the nukes hit this location, a cloud of dust and ash went up and blocked the sun. So everything under, essentially froze over.

I'll let you guys know when the mod is available but for now, the trailer will do.
