Composer of Silent Hill will make new music for World of Tanks
Everyone who played at least one of Silent Hill games knows that the music in them has had a huge impact on the tantalizing atmosphere. For most of the games of this series music was composed by Akira Yamaoka, which by disparaging of Team Silent mostly worked on lesser loud Japanese games such as Lolipop Chainsaw, Sine Mora, Killer Is Dead and others. But Yamaoka is now engaged in a project that is well-known to the broader audience circle.
Music composer of Silent Hill by the end of this year will work on new music and sound effects for World of Tanks. Sounds like a weird combination, but we've seen stranger cooperations. Yamaoka already has several ideas for WoT, though it may not be his type of the game, at least if its to judge by his work so far.
"When I work on a video game then I play it first to see how I feel during the game. In World of Tanks I will look for scenes in which I observe my opponent and then I will see how I feel about it. Maybe I'm excited or want to do something about that, so I'll try to connect sound and music with that situation. My goal is to make the game even more interesting and exciting, " - Yamaoka said.
Otherwise, Wargaming is not the only "musical" cooperation. For the promotion of the game it was recorded a music video from group Sabaton for the song "Primo Victoria" which for some reason corresponds to the theme of World of Tanks.
