Kojima explained how the Death Stranding development is going with comparison to Italian restaurants

As things stand, the next game of Hideo Kojima may not be ready for 2018. When exactly will be ready does not know even Kojima himself, but that does not stop him from doing strange comparisons in the development process of that game. At a recent Tribeca Games festival Kojima said that the game is progressing fine, but not to be lost in the translation he explained the development process through the analogy of Italian restaurants.

"Let's say the guy goes into an Italian restaurant. Details about who the character will be there and what they will eat are already in place. What we are doing now is what sort of table will be there, what the guy will talk about while there, which restaurant's specialty and similar. These are the details we now adjust, "Kojima said.

In the translation, the screenplay of the game is completed and now they advance to testing the stuff and mechanics within the Decima launcher which Kojima borrowed from the creators of Horizon Zero Dawn. Of course, all this is a simplified story behind the process, but it is like that with the Italian restaurants.

I am a big Kojima and MGS fan but I feel this game will turn out to be yet another over-hyped debacle.

Just a noob

Hideo Kojima is special, he really does like to do things on his own way :D

Well, if Kojima wasn't working on it, i'd simply say it's some overhyped cr*p that will never release properly and move on, but I'm confident and I'm still here waiting... so, make it quick! (but good! :P)
