Thirty-five year old Brian Vigneault, community digital textist known as Poshybrid or short Poshy last weekend was streaming World of Tanks in the all-day sessions. The goal was through a few 24-hour streams in a week to collect money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Unfortunately, on Sunday after 22 hours of play he passed away at his home.

Father of three children to the viewers to which he streamed said that he was going to light a cigarette and when he did not return everybody excepted that he fell asleep. But when the next day they tried to contact him through the discord they`ve received an information from the local detective who confirmed that Brian has died.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, and despite various speculations has not been confirmed or that his death was directly related to the long playing nor lack of sleep. Anyhow through the Internet circulates a warning that lack of sleep can have serious consequences to the human body and recommend are reasonable doses of video-game playing with significant breaks.

Yes, man is mortal, but that would be only half the trouble. The worst of it is that he's sometimes unexpectedly mortal—there's the trick! (c)

We will miss Brian Vigneault. One of the great gamer streamers on twitch. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

That's awfully sad news.  Condolences to his family and friends.  I realize for the sake of charity that long marathon streaming sessions are a thing, but there has to be better ways to raise money for a cause that doesn't jeopardize one's health.  Sleep deprivation is seriously unhealthy.

You can't play 24 hours of video games or on computer. It has been proven by the Korean you will die. You need sleep.
